Seattle: Icebreaker IV-The American Future - world premiere
Lauten was invited to participate in the Seattle Chamber Players' Icebreaker IV - the American future festival, curated by leading critics Kyle Gann and Alex Ross. The first installment of Lauten's work-in-progress, "0.02-The Two-Cents Opera" with excerpts scored for audio and the Seattle Chamber Players (violin, cello, flute, clarinet). This presentation is included in Kyle Gann's "Classics of Downtown" along with pieces by John Luther Adams, Janice Gitek, Kyle Gann, Eve Beglarian and William Duckworth. January 29, 2008

January 2005, The Donnell Library presented a screening of Rosalind Schneider's experimental film River Meditations with soundtrack by Elodie Lauten from THE MYSTERY OF THE ELEMENTS The same piece shown in March at the DIVA Film & Video Arts Fair.

April 2005: production of THE DEATH OF DON JUAN. This opera written in 1985 and revisited recently, was fully staged for the first time, with a cast of 29, at Franklin Pierce College (NH), directed by Robert Lawson, for a two weeks of performances.
